Don’t you just love when you are about to sneeze and you don’t? You get all ready to sneeze, you have your tissue in your hand and your head starts tipping back and your nose starts tickling and then nothing happens. I would consider this the worst let down in human history. Normally I like sneezing. It feels good and you get to make a funny noise when you do it. In fact, when I sneeze, I go, “Piik-acho!!” Just like the lovable mouse! However, when you are about to sneeze and your body starts to convulse but nothing happens, it sucks!
Sneezing is a natural human movement. It is supposed to happen. When it doesn’t I get so freaking angry! Sneezing is supposed to eject anything unwanted or signal sickness. If I don’t go full out sneeze, how am i supposed to know I have cancer (*complete hyperbole). The feeling that your body gets when it sneezes is so rewarding. All of your muscles relax and your body is in complete bliss for a couple of seconds. After a sneeze, sometimes it clears your sinuses so you can actually smell things for once! Except when it eludes the beholder. This has happened to every single human being. You know what I am talking about. It is the worst sensation in everyday life. Uggg!

Everyone has stress and it can be dangerous for your health. Scientists have warned that stress can cause high blood pressure and heart attacks. Low stress can also cause heart attacks and strokes. Livescience.com recommends to get more sleep or do yoga.
I believe getting more sleep would definitely help you and your health. As teenagers we love to sleep all the time but we usually don’t get a lot of it. Stress is one reason why. I can’t name how many times I’ve stayed up all night to do homework.
A vice many people have, procrastination, I personally think causes the most stress. It is the fault of the procrastinator, but like any habit it’s hard to break. Having the mindset that you have time to put everything off until later then suddenly it all crashes down. You’ll always regret procrastination but probably won’t stop.
Some tips to help with stress is to exercise more it helps you keep in shape and clear your mind. Oxytocin is known as the cuddle hormone and can lower stress just by hugging. As recommended above yoga is a good stress reliever, and if you didn’t know MHS has a yoga club starting this year. Try some of these tips and hopefully you’ll stress less because as teenagers we don’t need to stress too much.
As high schoolers we have all probably heard a “bad word”. I would be surprised if someone would tell me they haven’t. Since this is a school newspaper I am not allowed to give examples.
There are times when it is considered acceptable to use this type of language and there are, more often than not, when it isn’t acceptable. In school, restaurants, and most public places it’s not respectable to use indecent words. I can’t deny I have done it before and have been corrected or scolded for my language. I actually decided to write this article because of how many times Mrs. Harris has corrected my language in her class.
As stated in the paragraph above there are times when it is ok to say as many bad words as you please. I know that some parents don’t allow their children to say cuss words. Parents used to threaten and even wash out their kids mouth with soap for using foul language. I am so glad that has never happened to me. At my house I know I won’t get in trouble for saying a bad word, as long as we don’t have guests over.
I have never minded someone using what is considered a bad word around me. I do believe that some people don’t understand when it is and isn’t acceptable to use that kind of language. It’s important to respect the people around you and think before you say a bad word.
